Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains the circumstances under which ARK Advisors LLP may process a refund for professional fees paid for our Chartered Accountant services. By making a payment or engaging our services, you agree to this Refund Policy along with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

1. Nature of Professional Services

Chartered Accountant services are professional, time-based, and compliance-driven. Once an assignment is initiated (including consultation, review, documentation, drafting, preparation, or filing work), fees for the work already performed are generally not refundable.

2. Advance Payments

Advance payments are collected to reserve time, allocate resources, and initiate work. If a request for cancellation is received before commencement of work, a refund may be considered after deducting reasonable administrative and processing charges.

3. Government Fees & Statutory Charges

Any statutory payments, government fees, challans, filing fees, or third-party charges paid or committed on your behalf are non-refundable under all circumstances, as these amounts are outside the firm’s control.

4. Non-Refundable Engagements

Refunds are not applicable for services where work has commenced or deliverables have been shared, including but not limited to:

  • ITR, GST, TDS/TCS returns, and any statutory filings once prepared/submitted.
  • Audit planning, verification, reporting, or assurance services once initiated.
  • Consultations, advisory, notices, replies, and drafting services once provided.
  • Any engagement delayed due to incomplete or incorrect client information/documents.

5. Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

If an engagement is discontinued mid-way at the client’s request, the firm may, at its discretion, consider a partial refund after deducting charges for work already performed, team allocation, documentation, communication, and any committed costs.

6. Cancellations by Client

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (email/official communication). If work has already started, fees for completed work and committed resources will not be refundable. Any refunds, if approved, will be processed as per this policy.

7. Delays Due to Client Inputs

Refunds will not be provided for delays or inability to complete services caused due to incomplete, incorrect, or delayed information, documents, approvals, or confirmations from the client.

8. Incorrect Payments / Duplicate Transactions

In case of duplicate payments or incorrect payments made to the firm, refunds may be considered after verification. The client must share payment proof and transaction details for validation.

9. Refund Method & Timeline

If a refund is approved, it will be processed through the original mode of payment wherever feasible. Processing time may vary based on verification and banking timelines. The firm may request additional details to complete the refund.

10. Policy Updates

ARK Advisors LLP reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. The updated policy will be effective from the date it is posted on this page. Continued use of our website or services implies acceptance of the revised policy.
