A Design Objection is a query or concern raised by the Design Examiner during the examination of your design application. It is issued in the form of an Examination Report. An objection does not mean rejection — it simply requires clarification, corrections, or additional documents to proceed.

You receive an objection notice (Examination Report) from the Patent & Designs Office.
A detailed reply must be prepared addressing each objection including
If drawings are unclear or incomplete, revised versions are submitted
If the Examiner requires further clarification, a hearing will be scheduled. The applicant or authorized agent presents the case.
